Publisher review:Image Slice Viewer script allows you to view images made of slices. An image made up of image slices is positioned in a smaller 'View Area'. The area of the image outside the 'View Area' is hidden from view. The image may be moved within the 'View Area' to display other portions of the image.
Only the image slices in or coming into view are loaded which allows extremely large images made up of many image slices therefore be displayed in a limited area with minimal overheads.
Function event calls may be used to move the image up, down, left, right or diagonally within the 'View Area'. The magnification of the main image may also be controlled by event calls.
An optional thumbnail display of the image indicates the area of the image being viewed in a 'View Box'. Dragging this 'View Box' within the thumbnail will move the main image accordingly.
